New Nick name: Bubbles (thanks Grandpa)
I had a wonderful week with Grammy and Grandpa Brown. I picked them up from the airport and then proceeded to cry alllll the way home. Mom always wondered how long I could cry. She still doesn’t know because we didn’t drive long enough to find out.
After that ruff start it just got better. We went to see the elephant seals at Ano Nuevo State Park. Well, everyont else saw them, Mom put me in the sleep machine and I slept through the entire thing. Mom told me all about it when I woke up. If anyone comes to visit, I’d love to go and see them. I also got to go on my first Merry Go Round with Grammy. I loved it, but I think Grammy liked it more. I liked looking at myself all distorted in the horsey pole, and it was cold to the touch. I was a little dizzy after getting off. Mom got video of the whole thing if anyone is interested. I also got my first sand bucket, didn’t get to use it though. I think it may still be an advanced toy.
My accomplishments this week are playing with my toes. I can get my left big toe in my mouth when my diaper is off. My hair is so long now I wake up with knots in the back. I hope Mom doesn’t decide to cut my hair. I rolled over two more times this morning from my tummy to my back! I keep trying the other way but I just don’t quite get it. Mom and I practice every morning. My hands are getting more coordinated and I reach for everything in front of me. I think I understand kissing, but mom and dad still laugh at me. I look like a blow fish and I don’t understand the sucking sound, but I like to slobber. Mommy likes to do the Indian sound with my mouth and I grap her hand so she keeps doing it. Mom looks less tired because I’ve been only waking up 1-2 times a night. I went to my first jewelry show. If I never learn to shop, I think Grammy will step in and show me how. I love new places and all different people. Everyone wants to say hi to me. I quess my red hair atracks more people and of coarse I have a winning smile. I hum mm myself to sleep in the stroller. I’m back to screeching again to the point I couch. My biggest goal this week is to finally get rid of my eye goobers.
Today we were in San Jose tring to find a new bike for Daddy but we came home with a bike for me! Yes my very own trailer for mommy and daddy’s bike. I don’t have to do a thing, just go along for the ride and sleep. I’m not big enough yet for it, but I’m sure as soon as I am , I’ll be on the go and no one can stop me.
Till later, have a great day and enjoy the pitter patter of rain on your roofs.
