I had a nice weekend, that being my four days of Thursday through Friday… it started rather quietly, I sat around on Thursday while Layla was in daycare, I got back on my bike, I think I did some errands and read most of the day, I wathced a movie (chaos theory) and picked up our smiling child in the afternoon. Friday, I again guiltily dropped Layla off for our allured paid day care, I worked on the house and finished the entry door, staining and framing, I went and picked up the trailer dolly, bike to the gym, and worked on a little bit of self stretching, I also got 3 books on triathlon training, which will remain to be seen. Saturday was a great day, it was Layla and daddy day. We spent a nice morning hanging out relaxing on the couch, she took a small nap and I finished peeling plastic off the front door. The afternoon was beautiful, sunny and in the 70’s. We took a great hike, probably almost 6 miles, up through the Eucalyptus, we ate some wild blackberry’s, hiked to the top of Moore Creek Preserve, and then spent a couple of hours hanging out with other baby’s and grandmas at the park, we hiked down, we ate took a shower and called it a day. I watched one more movie “August” not very good, but wound me down from the nice day. Yesterday I Oxy cleaned and scrubbed the front deck, Wendy treated the back yard. We spent a couple of hours celebrating the birthday of one year old Ivan, and I finally got to spend a weekend and meet some of Wendy’s baby buddies and their parents. It was great fun being surrounded by all those baby’s and I enjoyed meeting everyone. In the afternoon my wonderful sister and her husband took care of Layla, made us dinner, and did some laundry, Wendy and I went sailing in the Lido 14. The wind was magnificent and I screamed in excitement when we were pulled onto our side and I could feel the wind and the water breezing bye. My wife had fun too, we almost reamed a beautiful yacht right in the rear, luckily she used her mad sailing skills to dodge the great white boat, and now the work week beings!
