6mths 1wk, Around 18lbs, Hair Strawberry Bleach Blond and eyes ice blue.
So I’ve been reading my sister’s blogs and seeing how I’ve been matching up in my first few months in life. Not bad so fair. We rolled over about the same time and sitting has been right up there too. If I can just crawl by 8mths I’ll be on track. Boy do I want to crawl! At least Mom wants me to crawl. I’ve mastered the sitting and rolling from one side to the other only in a matter of two weeks! Yesterday I spooked mom. I was on my belly flapping my arms and legs and the next thing I know I’m under the kitchen table and scarred. I’d moved backwards and didn’t even know it. Sitting has come at a great time because at Pama’s house there are no rugs and I was sure getting tired up smashing my head into the hard floor. It was good incentive to stay upright !
This weekend I said my first words. Da Da Da Da Da. I don’t know what they mean but Dad was really excited and Mom just kept saying Ma Ma Ma Ma Ma back at me. No video of me saying it (Again), but my sister has video of her moment. My sister blogged way more than me when she was a baby, but then again she is the blabber mouth in the family. I’m more one to sit back, observe and just be content with life. It’s just too much fun watching and listening to her. I don’t think I could adequately compete at this time in my life. I think I’ll leave the talking, singing, and dancing up to her right now.
She even spelled the word Milk the other day at dinner with Mom. And she knows the whole alphabet and is starting to learn the baby letters.
I’m not sleeping through the night yet or even close. I’ll have to search a little deeper into Sis’s blog to see when she tried it. I’m a little homeless right now so when Mom gets me in the middle of the night I just want to stay with her. They keep moving me from the living room, M&D’s room and Sis’s room. Doesn’t matter where they put me I always wake up everyone. I’ll have to see how much longer I can get away with it until they put me in the garage at night.
I still don’t wave or clap my hands like sis did but M&D have been slacking on the encouragement side. I like to eat and drool lots though and I’m working on getting out of my 3-6mth clothes. Mom cut the feet off one of my jammies last week because Auntie made her feel guilty my toes were smooched inside.
Got to go, I have to get some Zzzz’s before I wake Mom up at our normal 2AM rendezvous.
