I agree. We shouldn’t blame God for the evil in the world because the evil in the world comes from man and not from God. Hitler came into power because the people, including Jews, did not rise up against him. Germans did not raise up against him. Countries refused to accept the Jews when Hitler tried to sent them to other countries.
God may have created the world, but did He have sunsets and sunrises in mind when he created it. Who knows? Did God create the Grand Canyon or was it the Colorado River?
Jennifer is right. There are no definite answers to these questions. But blaming God for evil is just a way of getting ourselves off the hook for sinning in silence. There is a quote that goes something like, “To sin in silence is the same as giving our consent.”
Evil exists in the world because of man and not because of God. God is love and has given us rules to live by because they will make us happier and healthier and loving. But most of us choose to ignore them because they are inconvenient and the result is evil in the world. It’s time to take responsibility instead of trying to blame God.
