I was at cardiac rehab last Wednesday and we talked about guardian angels.  But before that, one lady said that her mother contacted her after she died.  I said, “It might be an evil spirit because if you believe there’s a heaven and everyone is perfectly happy, why would they take the time to talk to us.”

She said, “It’s my guardian angel.”

I related an incident that made me believe that somehow God or my guardian angel helped me.  The water pump in my house (I have have a well and the pump and pressure tank are the house to guard against freezing in the winter) has been leaking off and on for some time.  I get it stopped and it’s fine for awhile and then it starts leaking again.  I bought a new pump and then realized that in order to replace the old one with the new one I was going to have to cut the pvc pipe and have all kinds of possible future leaks so just let the new pump sit while I waited for an answer.

I figured that when Stephen and Wendy came, they might have a solution, and when I found out they weren’t coming figured I’d never find a solution.  So I went back in and tightened all the screws and it continued to leak on the carpet just inside the door of my bedroom.  That’s how I found out about the leak in the first place. (walked across it in my bare feet).

Anyway, out of nowhere came the idea that I should take the part out of the new pump and put it into the old pump.  I did it in about 20 minutes and it works great.  No pipe to cut etc.  As soon as I was done, I thanked God.  I’m not sure why, but for some reason it seemed like the answer came to me from somewhere outside myself.  So are there guardian angels out there or am I just thinking there are because I want too.  I’m not sure, but I’ve had enough of these kinds of experiences that I’m a believer.
