My aunt passed away at around 1:30 PM today. She was a fighter and was an exceptional woman having gotten polio at 4 months and living to be 86. She loved life and has moved on.
I talked to her yesterday. She couldn’t speak, only make guttural sounds. I told her I loved her and enjoyed my many visits at her place in the mountain near West Point. She tried hard to say something to me because I could tell she wanted so much to tell me something and I can only figure she wanted to tell me she loved me too.
I was asked to write the obituary and am finding that a tough task. She never got to see the video I posted. I’d planned on going to her house if she’d have lived another week, take my wireless, and hook my computer up so she could see it. Guess it wasn’t meant to be.
So long Auntie. I’m proud to have known such a courage woman. Two videos follow.
