Well, it’s the 6th day of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo.org). I’ve written 10,154 words so far. At first it was work, but for some reason I’m getting more and more into it and like the story. I’m sure it will need a lot more work when done. It’s started out about the friendship of two 14 year old boys which I was going to stretch out into their adult lives, but decided to keep it to a few months of their lives starting in the July and going through football season. I envision sequels to this story.
Some sad news with regard to my aunt, whose memoir I posted. She has just returned from the hospital to die. The cannot speak and her body is shutting down after living for 86 years with polio. She never got a chance to see the video I posted because she didn’t have the energy to get out of bed and get to her computer. But it’s now posted for posterity.
I called her tonight. She could not talk, could only listen. I told her I loved her and enjoyed all my visits and chats with her. I think started to get tears in my eyes as I am now. I’ll miss her and her positive attitude.
She had many visitors come. She is greatly loved by many people because she is exceptional.
