What is perfect? Is this what we are to strive for in life, is this the ultimate goal. Perfection in being, in job in family in life? or is our goal more simple, to experience life and all it’s imperfections? Is it the perfect world we should avoid. Is it the perfect world that disrupts. I can only hope that love and common well being are more important than perfection. We search, the perfect job, the perfect house, the perfect wife, the perfect child. In this mindset we have set ourselves up for failure. Maybe the idea is to not search. Take life as it comes to you. Love others and strive for not perfection but Peace. For knowing that at that moment, when life’s road winds to an end, weather in an unknown instant or in time, we can say at that moment we had lived, we had not found perfection in life but found peace in that moment where life’s true meaning came clear. I hope to find this, and I pray today for this, as my life changes, and the environment evolves, may peace find it’s way to me!
I completely agree with this. You are so wise. Of course I think that because I agree with you. Is that the way we are? Do the R’s think the media is liberal because they attempt to report the truth rather than the Republican line of the truth? Do they like Fox News and Rush because they love to distort the truth in their direction? I didn’t begin to think the things you now believe until I was in my 50’s or 60’s so you’re way ahead of me. You have a great foundation to build on.
