The pre-recession system of compensation has not gone away. The banks now know that their liabilities are backed by an implicit government guarantee, that being the taxpayer. They will continue to get us coming and going, while we all just sit beside and smile. Yet the middle working class men and women will continue to loose their retirement savings, their homes, their chances for a better future. We get so angry at the poor in need when they use social funds for food and housing, why do we not hold the same standards for the wealthy, when they use their government bailout to buy a 4’th home? I am not being resentful, it is just the way it is. And I believe if we continue to hand out federal money without restrictions we will be creating the next crisis that looks like the savings and loan mess of the 1980’s where deregulated banks gamble with taxpayers money. Come on people, I am beginning to think their is a certain audacity in hope!

I thought I'd already read this, but I guess not.
You have a very quotable line. "We get so angry at the poor in need when they use social funds for food and housing, why do we not hold the same standards for the wealthy, when they use their government bailout to buy a 4'th home?"
I'm not so sure about the 4th home, but it's obvious they spend it on something. I imagine it's jewel, art work, and so on. But you could be right.
