Just a little note from a little person. First of all, Dad got it wrong. My last post I was actually 11mths old. Time flies and I’m told that Dad’s often get these things wrong. I can’t believe I’m actually going to be 1yr old soon! I wanted to let the world know what I’m up to these days. I’m pursuing my janitorial skills lately and I’m really getting a hold of sweeping. I’ve pushed the broom around ever since I can remember and now that I’m up right and walking I seem to be doing better. I try and clean the toilet with my tooth brush and extra toilet paper but Mom insists that I’m not ready for this task yet. She’s always closing it and then putting something heavy on it. I try to suggest to Mom that the cupboards need re-arranging, but then again there’s Mom closing things again. I don’t know how she expects me to get prophissiant with these things if I don’t practice. My vocabulary is slowly growing, although Dad, Mom and sometimes Layla are the only ones who understand. I can say: Ba(ll), Boo(k), MaMa, DaDa and my all time fun word: tickle, tickle, tickle. My new word this week is Bye Bye and I can really waive now even when someone doesn’t tell me too. I’m working on my own version of Layla and it kind of comes out as YaYa. Layla says this is unacceptable though. I’ll keep trying, but lets face it she even has trouble saying it. It comes out of her as Wayla ! She’s a tough one to please. I like to bring things to everyone and I love books, I’m not just eating them either. I’ve been walking since Christmas and am really good at it. I like to dance by stomping my feet and turning around in circles just like my sister. Sometimes Layla likes to play with me, but other times not. Like Mom says, she’s an emotional roller coaster. I like to eat but often go hungry because I like to try and feed myself but not much gets in there. I don’t let Mom do it; I’ll figure it out. In the mean time I have fun watching Mom mop the floor. She’s a great Janitor and I can only hope I grow up to be as good as she is.
Till later,
Lucca
